This is just a general warning regarding Cassini (GiriGiri renamed). The point of this post is to give a general warning to all emulation sites that are posting this emulator as a new emulator.

Cassini is still the same hacked GiriGiri emulator just renamed. The "source" is just a disassembled binary file. This post is not ment to put down the Cassini team in anway. I mean no disrespect to the Cassini team and in no way want to hurt their project. I just want people and other emulation sites to know what this emulator is and to judge for themselves on how to handle it.

My previous post was to inform people of the latest progress regarding this project and I had hoped people would understand it is still GiriGiri renamed, but I still see some other emulation sites posting this as a new project when in fact it is not.

There is still no response from the actual Sega Law department regarding the legality of using and editing the files and the only contact that is being used as proof of being legal is the older e-mail from Sega Tech Support.

Everyone is more then welcomed to debate this issue on our forums and I must repeat I am in no way trying to hurt or put down the Cassini team or their efforts. We are a news and information site and I believe people are entitiled to all the information regarding this project. Thanks for everyones understanding of this situation.

這個只是 Cassini ( GiriGiri 的新名字 ) 的一個公告. 到各大模擬站點發表這個新模擬器的消息而已.

Cassini 仍然和 GiriGiri 一模一樣,只是 Hack 了它的名稱. 這個所謂的 "源代碼" 只是解讀了二進位資料格式檔罷了. 這封信並不是在批評 Cassini 團隊,
原諒我的無禮, 我並沒有要破壞 Cassini 團隊的計畫的意思.
我只是想要讓大家和其它模擬器站點了解並判斷如何處裡這個模擬器.

我以前從事的正是這個計畫最今進展的發佈人員, 我希望大家都能夠知道這個模擬器是改了名字以後的 GiriGiri , 但是事實上不是這個樣子, 我仍然看見許多模擬器站點報導這個 "新誕生" 的模擬器

關於 "它" 的使用 & 編輯 & 唯一接觸的合法性 等尚沒有 SEGA 法律部門的正式回應,
那些合法的證據的支持只是來自 Sega Tech 一封 N 久前的 E-mail 而已

歡迎大家到我們論壇討論這個問題, 在此我必須重複, 我絕不會破壞或排斥 Cassini 團隊的努力,
我們是一個新聞網站, 我相信大家都有資格來了解這項計畫的全部訊息, 感謝大家理解這個情況

就算是hack版的,也作出不少改进了,很多2d游戏基本上可以流畅的玩了.
