You don’t get the chance to download WORKPRiNTS everyday. The last one available was for the film ‘Hostel: Part II‘ about 2 months ago and to be getting another now is actually quite quick. We here at rlslog don’t even have a category for WORKPRiNTS that’s how rare they are. CAMERA is the group that gives us this latest WORKPRiNT and is of the movie EL Cantante. Starring Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez the plot tells the life story of Hector Lavoe who started the salsa movement in 1975 and brought it to the United States. The quality of this WORKPRiNT is pretty good but as is the norm with this type of release there is a pretty large copyright notice at the bottom with a rather annoying timer which is a bit of a bummer, however I’m almost certain that there are no black and white scenes. This also has been ‘officially’ nuked with the following as the reasons: [ El.Cantante.WORKPRINT.XviD-CAMERA ] - [ bad.ar_no.eng.subtitles.for.spanish.parts ]. The ar at least for me seems fine and as for there being no English subtitles, its a WORKPRiNT the production crew probably haven’t even added them in themselves anyway. So overall this is some nice work by group CAMERA with the advantages of this pre such as the image and sound quality being very good for such an early release outweighing the disadvantages such as the copyright notice and English subs not being available for the portions of Spanish audio.
