这个工具的作用是将你拥有的所有机种的模拟器集合到一个界面上来管理。换句话说，就是要玩什么游戏，直接启动它，找到游戏，就可以启动模拟器玩了，而不必先去一层层的翻文件夹，打开模拟器，再载入相应的ROM。因此，不妨把它叫作“模拟器大管家”。界面下左侧一栏是机种列表，中间是游戏列表，右边是相关设定和游戏的详细信息，包括截图。它的强大之处在于支持的机种数量相当多。玩完MD想玩会FC，只要在它的界面上选择一下机种，再选择一下游戏就行了。设定一下模拟器所在位置和ROM路径，它会自己搜索游戏。
说完了优点，该说说缺点了。以我的观点来看，它的最大缺点就是每种机型只能设一个模拟器，这对于我这种收集了一大堆不同版本的模拟器的人来说是个遗憾。此外，它不支持中文，游戏ROM或压缩包中若含有中文，会显示为乱码。全英文的界面在英文不好的同学眼里可是会晕晕的哦。因为有以上缺点和它本身体积太大（若压缩上传至少要分6个分卷），故不提供本地下载，想要的请到原发布地址

Ok, again an update. This contains some fixes and also some new Platforms.
- fixed array output for "# All found" popups
- fixed problem with eccUserFolder eccident-platform.html files (e.g. ZINC)
- fixed some little glitches in relative path convertion for emulators and roms.
- "Reparse all ROM folders" added the platforms eccUser Folder as default path for reparsing
-- Start ecc -> platform menu "Open eccUser folder" -> copy roms to roms folder -> platform menu, choose "Reparse" ... done!
- "Optimize roms" now also optimize folders not available for "Reparse all Roms" feature
- added new table fdata_drivemap for future CD/USB drive mapping.
- renamed some tables in database to fit the naming convention.
We will RELEASE emuControlCenter 0.9.6 ON FRIDAY 14-Dec-2007!
This will be again a very big update containing the complete ARCADE-Support (incl. MAME), in total there will be 102 platforms supported!
